“This year broke me.
I felt death breathing down my neck
it only let me face the pain head on
and bluntly.
Look inside,
and pick up the pieces.
I collected the dried leaves from my house to create micro landscapes. Where the exterior is an echo of my inner voice, using poetry as a way of relating to and understanding what was happening.
Micro landscapes that made me aware of another way of relating to nature, pain, life, and death.”
